I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with techniques from Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My approach focuses on teaching coping skills to target specific symptoms and address triggers or unresolved emotional pain that may be impacting you. I have 10+ years of experience and training using this approach to treat severe anxiety and depression, complicated grief and trauma and the underlying stressors that can contribute to these such as multiple losses, unresolved anger, or different forms of avoidance.
My style is direct and warm. My goal is to help you to better understand, cope with and resolve what brought you into therapy along with feeling empowered to take on future challenges as they come.
